This section is to list the most common issues faced by our users and potential easy ways to fix it…
Potential situations:
Here are couple iterative steps:
Step 1
Make sure you have a compatible GFX card (native directx 11.2 support) required within recommended specification for optimal performance.
If you don't have a GFX card, you need to activate the “norender” option:
set g_bNoRender 1
-norender
in program arguments
Step 2
Usually, you can contact author via forum (in theaters section). Revert to KTO original via the Falcon BMS Launcher…
Step 3
Please check the file: [Falcon BMS]\Data\TerrData\TheaterDefinition\theater.lst
Make sure you only have line with theaters you still have installed (KTO and KTO TvT should be left untouched)
Step 4
Not all mods are safe or compatible… Make sure you check the current version is approved with the used mod…
Step 5
It is possible that drivers changes or other events might corrupt graphic settings and you might need to reset the Falcon BMS recorded graphics profile.
In order to do so, please delete: [Falcon BMS]\User\Config\d3d11.dsp
Step 6
Especially when creating a CTD report, it is important to package in a zip the following files inside [Falcon BMS]\User\Logs
, make sure you take the files with the right timestamp (Year_Month_Date_Time_filename):
Put those files on a cloud drive (google drive, dropbox, onedrive, fileshare, mega, …) and post those in the bms forum with the link to package and a way to reproduce the crash if needed… (We don't need you to paste the log in plain text)
This could happen for the following reasons:
Step 1
You need to create a virtual sound card or install one… You need to install a virtual audio software if you wish (at your own risk):
Step 2
Please check the following forum section.
Fairly common issue…
Replace the Opentrack dlls (especially NPclient64.dll) inside the program folder from opentrack inside: C:\Program Files (x86)\opentrack\modules
There is a package available on Falcon Lounge website.
Usually comes from a right issue on the Falcon BMS installation folder.
Step 1
Rights click on the Falcon BMS folder > Properties > Security tab > Add “Users” with write rights…
Step 2
Launch the updater from Falcon BMS main installation folder and it should solve your problem
Check above… Same solution…
